My name is Prabuddha which is a spiritual name given to me some 22 years ago by my Meditation teacher Sri Chinmoy. It means ‘Awakened’ the inner being is soulfully and powerfully awakened to manifest the Beloved Supreme. I first became interested in meditation in 1976 after talking to a couple of friends about the subject. My practice initially was erratic with glimpses of success, however as time passed on my appetite became greater for the results and in 1979 visited the Sri Chinmoy Centre in Adelaide, South Australia to do some formal classes. These were very special times and the experiences derived from the classes were really quite profound.

That April inspired by the teachings of Sri Chinmoy, and feeling the need for a greater direction in life, I asked to become a student of his. My spiritual life began and I entered into a new outlook and understanding in life. The following twenty six years have been quite amazing, and some of these moments I wish to share with you over the coming weeks. So stay tuned.
